Direct Support Staff (DSP) - Make a Difference Daily!

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living activities (ADLs) such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication management
  • Able to pass a background check
  • Provide compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting
  • Observe and report any changes in individuals' behavior or health status
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Foster effective communication and build positive relationships with individuals and their families
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure the highest quality of care

  • Strong caregiving skills with a focus on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with individuals and their families
  • Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and provide personal care
  • Experience in group home settings or long-term care is a plus, but not required
  • Basic knowledge of first aid and safety protocols is beneficial
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a caregiving environment

*No Prior Experience Necessary – Paid Training Provided!

Wage and Benefits:

  • $16-$17 per hour
  • Full-Time (30+ hrs) or Part-Time employment
  • Morning, Day, Evening, Overnight, and On-Call shifts available, depending on location
  • $250 Sign-On Bonus upon completion of training
