We take education seriously; part of that philosophy includes the ongoing support and continued training of our Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professionals (QIDP). We are looking for experienced Program Directors and leaders who embrace those ideals and love bringing joy to others. This is a fast-paced position that requires organization and the ability to problem-solve.
As a member of the support team, the QIDP/Program Director provides administrative leadership to ensure that programs align with Danville’s mission and values. They are responsible for ensuring that services provided to individuals are high-quality, person-centered, and fully compliant with all applicable Danville, state, and federal regulations. The position actively promotes self-determination and empowers individuals receiving services to advocate for themselves. They ensure that each person understands their rights and is supported in exercising those rights in a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Emergency-related calls should be expected as they arise with follow-through on incident reporting. Danville will provide the tools and training to be successful.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: An unencumbered RN license, or a bachelor's degree in the human services field, which qualifies as QIDP.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with people with intellectual or development disabilities. Supervisory and quality assurance and employee training experience preferred.
- Training/Certifications: CPR, First Aid, state-required behavior support training, medication administration training (or willingness to obtain).
A current resume and proof of educational background (photo of diploma or transcripts) are required to be submitted with this application. This posted position requires the ability to drive personal and company vehicles. People receiving support are transported by trained employees in company vehicles. Danville requires our drivers to be at least 21 and have at least 3 years of driving experience. In addition, Danville drivers must have a current Nevada DL that meets our safety standards.
