This is a rare and great opportunity for the right candidate to lead the Nevada Danville programs. This position will require that the person offered this job either reside or move to Las Vegas, NV. *Moving Allowance is included for moves over 50 miles from the current location.

Position Summary:
Danville provides exceptional, quality care for individuals with intellectual disabilities in residential, day services, and other settings.  The Nevada State Director is responsible for all operational functions related to these services for all of Nevada.   This includes supporting individuals served and their teams, supervising area leaders, creating an atmosphere that facilitates strong growth, maintaining financial viability of the program, and serving as a liaison between Danville and our contracting partners.  In all these duties, the Nevada State Director is responsible for upholding and embodying the company’s core six values of Satisfaction, Dedication, Wellbeing, Authenticity, Joy and Quality.
Selected Highlights of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor leaders and other employees
  • Ensure high quality outcomes (including health and safety of individuals served) in all home, day sites, and other settings
  • Ensure all services are provided in accordance with Danville’s’ service contracts and policies
  • Lead and organize regular meetings and other key business meetings within the area
  • Be on-call and support all team members in the area to respond to urgent situations
  • Maintain excellent relationships with individuals served, their team members, and Danville’s’ contracting partners (state agencies and other key stakeholders)
  • Oversee all revenue and expenses for the area and ensure financial viability of the program
  • Review and approve all individual service budgets/contracts/authorizations
  • Foster program growth and oversee all intakes and discharges within the area
  • Secure and maintain all housing needs for individuals in residential settings, and ensure the homes are maintained in accordance with Danville’s high-quality standards
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, QIDP or QIDP eligible.
  • Two years experience as an administrator.  (Recommended)
  • Minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write effectively.

  • Has a positive outlook of DSPs and caregivers and the skills and strengths they have, is able to recognize and develop potential in others, and demonstrates the ability to motivate others.
  • Has good writing skills and can communicate articulately both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in information systems used by Danville (Microsoft Office, Fusion, Paylocity, etc.)
  • Knowledgeable about human resources and employment law
  • Understands basic business and accounting practices
  • Is efficient in their work and manages time well
  • Has charisma and demonstrates good presentation and training skills (in one-on-one, small group, and large group settings).
